Our 700 square foot Tasting Room harkens back to Old Anaheim. Sitting at the 30 foot long vintage wooden bar, customers can gaze at the shiny brewery tanks and watch the brewing process. Even the bar has history. It was salvaged from the old Covered Wagon Saloon, which stood nearby and closed in 2002.
More importantly, the Tasting Room is a place where people can relax and enjoy the company and conversation around them. Sociologist Ray Oldenburg, in The Great Good Place (1989) calls these locations ‘third places” – the first being the home and second being work. He suggests that tasting rooms, beer gardens and other such places “are the heart of a community’s social vitality and the foundation of a functioning democracy.”
Stop in and enjoy a glass, fill your growler, or buy bottles or kegs for your refrigerator.
